Armani's top floor wine bar and lounge at The Armani Ginza Tower (Tokyo) opened its doors to the public this month, offering over 300 Italian wines (approximately 30 from Franciacorta), as well as views of Ginza from an attached terrace.
Formerly a private, members only venue, the space was revamped to enforce the luxury brand's commitment to evolve - "The aim is to reach more people...we want a large number of people to be able to experience the Armani lifestyle," said a spokesman for the brand.
Reports also express that Armani hopes to introduce Japanese shoppers to the idea of the Italian aperitivo by offering wine and small bites on the top floor and a full dinner on the floor below.
