Going, going, gone on eBay this week was a 1:1 scale model of a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing... made entirely of wood. The craftmanship is extraordinary, and it appears no detail was spared from top to bottom, exterior to interior, including hinged doors that open and close just like the real thing! It may be too late to bid on the carved-out classic, but the pics are still worth a look:
